Income & Protection

Growing the money was the plan. Living on it is the design.

Our Income & Protection team handles the money that has to be there no matter what. We design retirement income that arrives every month for life, place life insurance that does a specific job in an estate or a business, and review the policies and annuities you already own to tell you whether they still belong. You see every option, what each one costs, and how we are paid, before anything is signed.

Who this is for

Income & Protection is the practice inside GFO that handles insurance and other protection strategies our clients need. Some of the people who come to us have just sold a business and want to know how much of that money they can count on for the rest of their lives. Some are already in the Cypress System and want a floor under the plan. Some are closer to retirement than they expected, with a rollover in hand and no idea what it should be doing. Whatever brought you here, we sit down, walk through your options in plain language, and answer every question until you are comfortable deciding. And if what you already have is working, we'll show you that too.

What we do

Three kinds of work. One conversation.

Every engagement starts the same way: your whole picture, more than one option, and a plain explanation of how each one works and how we are paid.

Income you can count on

Protection for what you built

Growth on the upside. A floor on the downside.

We start with one number: how much income has to show up every month, no matter what. Then we build that piece so it does. There is more than one way to do it, and we will walk you through each one, what it costs, and what it locks up, before you choose.

An FIA is an insurance contract that credits interest when a market index rises and protects your principal when it falls. In exchange, the upside is capped and the money is committed for a set number of years. Used for the right slice of a plan, it does a job nothing else does. We show you the cap, the fees, the surrender schedule, and how we are paid before you sign anything.

Sometimes the plan needs an insurance policy to work. The estate that would have to sell the business to pay the tax bill. The trust that needs funding. The two partners who need to know the company survives if one of them does not. The owner who wants to put away far more for retirement than a 401(k) allows. We design the coverage around the problem.

Seminars and screenings

Learn how it works before you decide anything.

JC hosts small evenings in Coral Gables and Miami: a short film, a plain-language walk-through of how guaranteed income and protection actually work, and time for your questions. No product is presented and nothing is signed in the room.

Bring the annuity, the life policy, or the long-term care contract you already own. We walk through what each one costs, what it guarantees, and how to read the fine print yourself.

Our yearly closed-door roundtable addressing macroeconomic shifts, family governance, and defensive asset structures for multi-generational wealth.

Seminars are educational and are hosted by JC Jimenez, a licensed insurance agent with GFO Magnate LLC, an insurance agency affiliated with GFO. No specific products are presented.
